About me
It’s hard to describe myself, as I believe in the teachings of Buddha. We are all fluid beings, we are different in every surrounding & situation. I am not the same person when I am learning as I am when I am teaching, nor am I the same parent as I am friend. I love many things and many different types of people. Some would say I am an extrovert and an adventurer, I would say I am a lover of all things genuine. I believe in fake lashes, not fake friends, and think we should never stop trying to step out of the box and try something new to improve and grow who we are as people.
I spent over 20 years in the restaurant industry and after experiencing burnout and life changes, decided to change my path. If you would have asked me 5 years ago if I would be as into healthful living, skin and making a person look as beautiful as they feel I would have said no way. You know how life goes, sometimes it like to throw you a curveball…
I left the restaurant industry, and took a year to spend time and reconnect with my kids as well as figure out what the next chapters of my life would include. I started out as a private chef for Yoga retreats all over the world and fell in love with Yoga and the way it made me feel. I was at peace every time I stepped onto my mat. It was therapy. I even ventured to Sri Lanka and climbed to the top of a monastery for a Yoga retreat. It was the most enlightening experience I have ever had.
One day I went to have a facial. This wonderful woman changed my life forever. I am a Spiritualist and as I was laying there I felt so at peace. Her energy radiated off her hands as she brought me to Savasana. If you have never experienced this, I hope I can show you the deep relaxation this invites to your mind and body. I was hooked! I knew then and there I wanted to bring this to as many people as I could. Having only experienced this on my matt, it blew my mind that a non- yogi could bring me to this peaceful place. Once I got up, I could see and feel how great my skin was. I decided to enroll in school to become an Esthetician.
